I'm roaming in the US, with a roaming add-on. It says roaming includes calls within the US and to Canada. It doesn't say anything about calls FROM Canada! Am I going to get hit with a big charge after my 30-minute (incoming) call tomorrow?

No, you'll be Roaming in the USA and you have an Add-on for that. You're good

Thanks Chad. I know I have an add-on, but the add-on doesn't specify incoming calls from Canada to the US. It specifies US to US calls, and US to Canada calls, but not Canada to US calls. I'm *assuming* Canada to US is included, but it would be awfully nice if someone from Koodo could confirm that (and update the descriptions of the roaming add-ons to be more specific).

From Canada to the US would be long distance. This wouldn't fall under your roaming add on. Pay per use long distance charges would happen if you don't have a long distance saver added.

Ok if that's the case it would fall in your roaming minutes

BTW, I'm a "he." :-)

To recap, I'm a Canadian, currently in the US. I paid for a roaming plan that gives me unlimited US to US calls and US to Canada calls, but the plan does not specify Canada to US calls (i.e., when someone in Canada calls me here in the US).

US roaming will cover incoming calls, regardless of source, while you are in the US.

Hey Blork,

No worries everyone here got you covered :). Just to confirm, the "US Roaming feature" you've added covers your calls (incoming/outgoing). Enjoy your trip.

will I be charged for checking my voicemail while in the US if I have the text/minutes/data add on?

Checking your VM use your minutes.  But if you have a US Roaming add-on with minutes (which comes with unlimited minutes), then you don't get extra charge to check your VM.
