100 dollars off tab? That'll mean 100 dollar discount from the regular tab price. It's not a contract but I guess it depends on how you define them. You don't pay any fines if you leave, just the amount left of the phone price. Tab medium takes 360 off to be paid over 24 months 15 dollars a month. 100 would take off the total price on tab.

Tab is like an interest free loan.

Say, You want a $500 phone and you use Tab M to buy it.
You pay $140 upfront : $500 - $360 on the Tab M.   Your monthly tab charge/fee is $15 for next 24th to pay back to Koodo.  It's like a contract, but you can pay it off sooner than 24 month.

If you see $100  off  tab, (I'm not sure if it's exact word on web), then it could be $360 phone with $100 off = $260 phone...?
Where do you see it? (Which phone is it?)

Add : oh, you gus are so quick.

Yeah, walmart usually has different offers then Koodo. You're best to check with them to make sure you fully understand the offer.
