i want to upgrade my phone and i would like to know if my mom has to sign again because im upgrading phones because i will have a new tab so does my mom has to sign ?

If the account is in your mom's name, then yes she will have to be there to do it.

If you are over 18 she can call Koodo and add you as an authorized user for your line and you would be able to do it with out her in that case

It depends on who's name the account is under.

Only the account holder must be present

If she is the account owner and there is no other Authorized user then yes she has to.

Basically the Account owner needs to be there (whoever that may be)

Ahhhh my comment was not suitable for your age then, sorry Jeremie.

As a 16 year almost-grownup, you can probably get the funds yourself. But yes, your parent who is the account holder would have to be present to sign for the phone, even if you supply the money. There is no other way I'm afraid...

I think you best bet is to convince them to upgrade their phone and then you can take their old phone

My son asked me to upgrade his phone a few month ago even though his phone is still working. He promised me to do his best for his school work as well as extra house chores. He has been doing great and I'm considering upgrade his phone.
You might need to offer something for her too.
