I'm in the process of legally changing my name, but since it's not changed yet, my account was set up with my legal name. Is it necessary for the account name and the name on my credit card/billing to be the same? Is it possible to change it to the name I use and prefer?
More info , if your info on the card is different from Koodo, payments will not be processed. It's simply easier for the system if you use your legal name. No one is going to call you by it unless you call in for care. And even then you can ask them to call you whatever you prefer.
