Haven't heard anything about the q8. I don't believe that Koodo will, and will stick to LG flagships. However if they do, itll be announced on their main webpage

Koodo is offering a variety of non-flagship LG devices such as the K4, Q6, and the Stylo 3. The Q8 looked like the bigger version of the Q6 and they were launched at the same time. Honestly, if Koodo carries the Q8, it will be the same price as the iPhone 7 Plus and the LG V30. I’d personally go with the V30 instead. The V30 is newer and it has one of the highest rated camera.

Absolute total brain fart. No idea why I forgot about the K4, Stylo and Q6. At any rate, I'd stay far away until they show their quality control issues are in the past. Can always use warranty but it's a hassle.

The Q8 is using the QC 820 chip, it was likely a "water resistant" of the V20. It won't be able to compete with G6 or V30 in anyway (both screen size and speed)

LG is getting better with quality control. LG G6 is a well-made phone. I think its value is better than the Essential. The only issue for LG hardware is the front camera. I have no idea why they used bad selfi camera on flagships.

The G6 is surprisingly low on QC issues but it's been a consistent issue since the Optimus 2x right up to the G5 and they're gonna need to keep it up for more than one flagship generation to get past that.

I liked the wide angle lens but otherwise...meh. The battery life is unimpressive but it did look good.

I think it is the price-point that is in favor of the F6, the G6 is right now selling as a mid-tier phone, and priced similarly with the Samsung S7. However, it got better spec and design than the S7 IMO.

LG seems to be riskier with their product design than Samsung, HTC.. and they had to pay the prices...
