Does koodo ask for the last three digits of your SIN on the credit quiz over the phone?

Koodo called when i was out saying i needed to call back for a "credit quiz", when i called back one of the question was for the last three digits of my SIN? is this normal?

Assuning you initially provided your sin as identifying information for the credit check, yes. In any case, however, there is nothing anyone can do with only the last three digits of your sin number. Yes, it does reduce the potential random combinations that will match, but it is still only one of 10 million possible combinations.

It's a very common way of verifying identity on a call-back, often used in situations where it's not legal to require a customer to reveal social insurance or social security number either in Canada or the US.
