I'm trying to change my phone to a Polaroid Link and Koodo is saying the IMEI # is invalid.  Does this mean it's not compatible with Koodo.....I got a bad feeling....

Which version of the Link do you have?

Polaroid Link A1: Not Compatible
Polaroid Link A5: Only supports 3G, no 4G/LTE
Polaroid Link A6: Only supports 3G, no 4G/LTE

Thanks for the info.  It's an A1. Looks like I'm going to have to send it back.

You don't need to change your IMEI in Self Serve, if that's what you're trying to accomplish. You just need to ensure the phone is compatible with the network (and consequently your SIM card) like Mathieu mentioned.

For future reference you can use willmyphonework.net to see if a phone will work. It has a registry of practically every phone and carrier there is in the world to see if it will work and I love it.
