I am looking at replacing our old Blackberry Curves with Blackberry Q5's but am concerned they may not work in Saskatchewan or Manitoba outside of cities due to only CDMA networks being available there

Koodo does not sell anymore CDMA phones as those networks are being phased out.

SK & MB have WCDMA/HSPA+ networks. They are just very limited outside of the major centers. Your best coverage in those areas will be with MTS or SaskTel

I agree with you. Koodo coverage is limited in Manitoba so going with the other competitors may be the best option. Hopefully one day soon the coverage will expand in our Provice. I do love Koodo! The customer service, plans, and prepaid are awesome! :)

so then the question is: will Blackberry Q5's work in those rural areas?
