I just wanted some clarification towards if my line would be totally disconnected or would I be able to receive incoming calls even when my services got cut. My friend got a plan which she got no clue what it is, but recently her line got cut due to late payment. Interestingly, I called her without thinking just to get connected and we went fine talking for awhile. She told me it won't be possible to make outbound calls as they get redirected to Koodo CS but its possible to get incoming calls even after her services were cut off.

I was wondering if there is a free incoming calls plan on Koodo as I am looking for another service provider from the one I am with. If not then does the above situation apply on all plans?

I dont believe you should.

Plan wise, you have to get an add-on for unlimited incoming calls

If outbound calls are being redirected to koodo then the line has not been cut off. It means that she needs to talk to koodo and make payment arrangements before the account gets suspended and she gets charged a $35 reconnection fee on top of what she already owes.
