Did u sign a contract on that carrier? If yes, u need to pay out the contract / flextab balance thats remaining on the phone if u get one. If ur only on month to month u just need to call them to cancel their service or if u dont wanna lose ur # tell them that ur gonna port it in koodo
Because you just signed up a couple of days ago, I recommend keeping your current account for a month before deciding to port to Koodo. The port does take time to fully complete on the backend and it could get messy.
Like others said above, porting with complete the cancelation for you on your behalf
