If I add both Caribbean packages (one gives 75 outgoing text messages) and the other 50 texts, 50 minutes and 50 MB of data do I get 125 texts? The other thing I'm not completely clear on: In Canada I have unlimited any time minutes and unlimited long distance... I know the add-on that gives me 50 minutes will give me 50 any time minutes but does that include long distance charges back to Canada or is that just the airtime? (e.g. is that 50 minutes of local calling with long distance to Canada being yet another charge?) I read it over carefully but the information isn't really clear on that. Thanks.

Roaming packages cannot be stacked. Yes, the 50 minutes includes calling back to Canada.

If I understand your question, you are asking if the 50 minutes are local call in Caribbean? Or if they include calls from Caribbean > Canada? If this is your 2nd question, then yes those 50 minutes include the long distance charges from Caribbean > Canada and any other call you make while on vaccation.

As for the first part, I don't know. Sorry.

Thanks guys! I read and read and read and couldn't figure out why I couldn't have both add-ons (the 75 text + the 50 text), so I called customer service and while he didn't know right off the top of his head he did research it carefully and found that because they are different add-ons they can be both added at once.

So you can't "stack" them (e.g. add the same 75 text add on twice to get 75 X 2) but you can add the 75 and then add the 50 to get 125 (to hear customer service's answer after he did much research and he agrees the web site description should be less confusing).

Anything not written in stone is subject to interpretation, with Koodo's being final.

I would go with the 50/50/50 package and top up later if I need more texts. When the great Koodo in the sky sees the first message, will he/she know what to do with it --- who gets charged first 50 or 75 or both of the active plans? --- the prime directive is of course to charge someone.

Your habits may change while you are on vacation. Easier to adjust while you are there.
