I was wondering if your already a koodo customer and your phone is unfixable and would like a new phone instead of an refurbished one if there could be any discounts in the future instead of paying full price for a brand new one like a 10 percent of or so forth

The new phones are already sold at a subsidized price to the consumer, if your phone breaks completely before you pay much of your tab off it would probably be wise to just go with refurbished anyways. Also a protective case/screen protector.

If your phone is less than one years old and not fixable, koodo will replace with the new phone.

My less than a year old phone broke and they did not offer this to me, doesn't sound like a commercially feasible offer either. Do you have a source for this info, because I'd be very grateful for it, and I'd be owed a new phone. There must be some fine print surrounding this policy...

This is not Koodo I'm sure, it must be the manufacturer & they will replace it if it costs more to fix then to just replace it. Since you stated "if within a year" which is the warranty time frame I'm sure your talking about what a manufacturer will do.

All new phones come with a one year warranty with the manufacturer. This means if the phone is not a physical/water damage, you can return the phone to Koodo and they will send it to the manufacturer to get it repaired and deliver it back to you for free.

If it has been more than a year, than a fee will be charged. If it is a physical or water damage, the charge will be greater and it may be recommended to get a new device.

You can always call Customer Care at *611 (Free on Koodo Cell) and see if they can clear your tab up a bit which will help you get a new phone.
