I have been trying to contact customer service for the last 3 hours. The phone call is directed to an apology voice mail every single time. Convenient when there is actually a good phone plan being offered. I am unsatisfied with this service. After 3 years of paying every bill on time there has been 0 loyalty back from the company. I went to a kiosk today and was told the only way to have a chance at the 10gb for 60$ plan is contacting customer service via phone. Not an option when the call is not even going through to anybody. I would like to close my account asap.

EDIT: Got through for once just now, after being on hold for 15 minutes navigating robot menus they just hung up on me. Thanks for that.

Sadly, you're in a catch 22 situation... To cancel, you need to get through too... It can only be done by phone. Keep trying :)

I tried on Saturday to get through.Waited for over an hour to speak with the rep. She told me she was unauthorized to give me the plan. She transferred me to customer retention on my request I waited another two hours but had to give up. I have Five phones with Koodo and have been a long time customer. SHAME ON YOU Koodo and thanks for nothing.

It's happening across all carriers. You best bet is to sign up as a new customer at a kiosk or to sign up with a new provider

And to cancel you can just port your number over to the new carrier if you are leaving koodo.

"Freedom Mobile has communicated that customers can use the online self-serve option to nab the promotion."

That alone should be enough to force the rest to do the same. Looks like Freedom is the way to go.

Thank you for the info
