It would be nice to be able to control voice mail. I would like to disable it or re enable it if I wanted to.

What's the point of disabling a VM?

If you are running small business with a home number that simul-rings or forwards to your cell phone, it's a PITA to check 2 voicemail accounts for a missed call or to have the cell voicemail kick in prematurely just when you are ready to answer on the home line.

And as parochial as it may seem, there are some people who get upset if your greeting is in the wrong language: my US friends get confused if the greeting is in French, and in Quebec you'll get a lot of hang-ups if your greeting is in English.

Prefer to have nobody dictate my greeting and just follow-up on missed calls, thank you very much!!!

Because a lot of people find voicemail annoying and would rather people not leave messages cause that is annoying. People like me. There are many reasons to but those are mine

You can use the extended greeting option in this fashion. Implement it when you want no VW and switch to the regular VM service when you need to receive VM.

I have a VoIP phone that has voice-mail and it emails the messages to me, which I like better. I simultaneous ring it to my cell phone... so I can be choosy who has my cell number.
Only need one voice-mail.
I also want my cell to ring as many times as it can... so I have time to answer it.
Now if Koodo could let me change the rings to 9 or 10 or something... that would be a good alternative. There is no option for that. Or better yet make it a setting in self serve to allow the ring settings to be changed, but not just up to 6 rings. Maybe 10 or 12 or something would be nice. Then the voice mail would still be there and that would be plenty of time for my VoIP phone to get the voice mail and the cell wouldn't get it.

Why not pressure voip.ms to implement Answer Confirmation on Multi-Ring? They've been promising it for about 5 years.

You could use a BluTooth earpiece to enable faster phone answering.
