Just would like to ask what's difference between geting a number from store/kiosk or online? beside you will need to pay 30$ extra for in-store purchase, but does that mean you dont need to wait for 7-15 business days for new number?

I dont think it takes that long but basically you are correct.

If you are already with Koodo and just want a new number, you can do that yourself online for free and its pretty much instant.

Thx, just want to know. And it actually saying  "Heads up! Due to the high number of orders, your phone may take up to 7 to 10 business days to be processed.
Sit tight! We're working as fast as we can." So I assume it gonna take at least one and half week

If you order a new phone, yes it could take that long. Usually it doesnt but they tell you the worst case scenario just in case. With their latest promos they have been pretty busy lately.

@Mats I think in this case "new number" doesn't mean a change in phone numbers on an existing line, it means adding a new line (a second, "new", phone number).

@James if I'm right, then yes you still need to wait for your SIM to ship if you order it online, and I believe they are in the same shipping queue as hardware (phone) orders, so yes the warning you see will apply if you order online.

@James: Besides $30 connection fee difference and 7-10 days of waiting, there might be some other promotion/credits that were only available online or in-store.

If you are buying from walmart, bestbuy, wowmobile, the mobileshop, the store sometimes has some extra giftcard/credit for new line activation.
