Did not get a prompt to go over data limit, but Koodo says otherwise.

I recently reached 100% data use and received a text message indicating so. I did not receive anything from koodo asking if I want to go over my limit. but when I called them, they say they received my approval to go over. how would i have received their request? via text? because i did not get it. Luckily they paid back the over usage charge ($5.65). I ppurposefully wanted to see what the prompt looks like, but never got it. I would have declined upon getting it. Is it possible someone is hacking the phone or there is some bug with this particular feature of the system? My billing plan indicates Shock-free is enabled.

In self serve are your data notifications all on for 50, 90, 100%?

What name is the account under? There are too many J Sun named customers.:-)  So, if you are willing to share we could see the details.

In self serve, Under your plans and add-ons, does it say shock free data?

I found your account Julie. There is indeed something odd, so I will have to have someone look into a little deeper why the "gremlins" have done what they did. As soon as I have some info, likely early next week, I will you know here what we may have found. Thanks for the heads up on this!

What does it say when you received a text from Koodo ?
Mine said " You've used 100% of your 100MB of data. To help manage your costs, your data has been temporarily turned off until xx date. To turn your data back on, respond "Yes" to get 100MB for $... ... "
Did you respond it by any chance?

Hers didn't say it was blocked, just that she used all 100% and 0 mb left till the end of her bill cycle.

I'm curious that there are few different type of messages?
Also, if you received a text like OP - You used all 100% and 0 mb left till the end of her bill cycle -, does it blocked/turned off?

@Mayumi,
 Apparently it was not turned off, as Koodo refunded a data overage charge!
