Dead phone

Technician replaced the battery. The phone will not take a charge. The phone is completely dead. Why am I having this trouble?

Hi Edith, I guess the problem wasn't with the battery then :( Is the phone still under warrantee? Does anything at all happen when you plug in the charger (led, blinking, anything)?

Make sure the battery is inserted correctly and the contacts match up on both the battery and the phone

If a new battery was replaced and the phone does not power on, then it seems there is something wrong with the phone. More information would be need surrounding the time the phone failed.

Did it fail after a charging the battery? Did you drop the phone? Did moisture seep into the phone? Unfortunately, electronics can also fail through no fault of your own, or with just age.

It could also be your charger. Have you tried using another charger to test it?

If your phone's still under warranty, I would suggest that you bring your phone and charger to the nearest Koodo: and a representative will be able to determine the defective unit.
