Hi Sasan, you are not able to deactivate the voicemail system on your phone

Go to this link and click the voicemail hyperlink.

There is a menu of your voice mail system. Not sure if you can deactivate it though.

No problem, there is no way to turn off voicemail completely. When u click the link, scroll down to calling features and click the voicemail option to see for yourself. You can however, call yourself and fill up your voicemail so no one can leave messages and then change your voicemail to, " This voicemail is no longer active " or something in your voice.

I guess this one work better.
Thank You!

Another thing you can do is activate your Extended Absence Greeting. This will allow you to record a message explaing to your caller that you are unavailable and that the VM will not record a message. Then the system will tell your caller that you are not accepting incoming messages. It will remain active until you shut it off.
You can Access this through the Voicemail menu when you call into your voicemail.

You can record an extended absence message. Since you're prepaid, the following link will give all navigation options, including how to get to recording an extended absence:

Ha! Sorry I thought it was a different link. That's what I get for not expanding it.

In your phone settings, go to Call Forwarding and disable call forwarding to the Voicemail center when call is busy, unanswered, and unreachable

I get the error message "Your operator doesn't support disabling call forwarding".  However, I can change the "forward to" number to my home phone number, so that I don't have to pay to retrieve my voicemail.  Thank you for directing me to the phone settings so that I could implement this workaround.

You can also call your voicemail from your home phone, avoiding using your cellular minutes.
