Daughter moved from London to Waterloo, Ontario - Any Change Required for Cell Plan?

My daughter just moved to university for the first time to Waterloo and we live in London. Area code still 519 but I believe that it is long distance.  It may seem like a stupid question but do we have to do anything to our plan to ensure that she is optimized for unlimited local calling? I am assuming that she will want to talk to most people at the university which will be outside our calling area?  Ugh, I don't know why I can't easily wrap my head around cell plans!

Most Koodo plans have unlimited Canada-wide long distance included, so for her, the move makes no difference. If she wants a local number in Waterloo, for friends who do not have long distance included in their plans, she can change her number in Self-serve to a local Waterloo number.

Don't worry about local calling; UoW pulls students from much farther afield than Waterloo, so calls will likely be long distance even if she's just calling other university students. All current koodo plans include unlimited texting, which covers any number worldwide, and will probably be used more than calling anyway, but if you want a calling plan go with unlimited Canada wide.

Do you happen to know what plan she is on? Most (but not all) Koodo's plans offer Canada wide calling, which means it wouldn't matter where she is in Canada...
