I want my phone to use wifi first and only use data when I'm not connected

I recently got a little perk of 100 MB data to my plan for blackberry. I almost constantly have wifi so I shouldn't need to use it much however it seems to be using data even though i'm doing stuff I would normally do on wifi (and while I have a connection to wifi) Unfortunately when I turn data off it stops working all together. Is there a way to ensure it uses my wifi first and only uses data when i'm not connected?

Hi there Claire... Even if you are connected to wifi and you data is on, your phone will always catch the strongest signal, so you may be connected over wifi, but let's say that you are far from the router, then the phone will continue loading what your are doing but with the strongest signal, possible the Koodo one...

So there is a way that you can only turn off your data services while you are on wifi, I found this link for several models of BB, try it out and see if it works...
