Data plan not showing as available on my Q10

I am a new koodo user. I have a Q10 and bought a voice and data booster. I have voice coverage but no data. Under network settings it shows "available network - koodo H-Voice only"

my usage shows the 1GB as unused. There's got to be a setting that I'm missing.

Since you're new I'm going to assume you're using a non-Koodo Q10. (Koodo hasn't stocked the Q10 since last October.) In that case you'll need to set up Koodo's APN.

Drag down quick settings from the top

Select Mobile Network (tap the word not the switch)

Make sure network select is in automatic

Cycle the data services switch off/on

If you are unlocked, tap the gear and be sure the APN is

Exit the settings menu

Press and hold the two volume keys until the screen goes blank (full shutdown)

Tap and hold the power/lock button for one second to allow the device to reboot.
