Data on Black Berry Curve Confusion

I'm so confused about how the data plans work on the BlackBerry Curve - does the Canada wide talk and text plan apply or do I have to add on another data plan? I have not interest in the BB social as I am mainly interested in email and don't really understand what the difference is between BBM and texting. It says online that the data add on is $0 but that seems strange... I want BB for the buttons but am not willing to pay for the Q10...

The $0 add on you see has to do with the data saver that comes with the Talk and Text plans. Adding that feature will allow you to use internet on your Blackberry however you wish. The charges will be as you see below

You can also change to one of our Canada-wide talk, text, and data. They give you better value on data if you plan to use your data daily for email! I am attaching the link to the plans for you to take a look at. The offer ends July 13th so make sure to log onto your self-serve to change your plan for free in seconds!

I do prefer the blocks of data opposed to the data saver. The notifications definately help control usage :)

Thanks! That definitely clears up some of my confusion - I don't know why I thought that the data rules/prices were different for the BB Curve. I will definitely heed the advice regarding the blocks of data - not a big fan of bill surprises : )
