data not working

When no wifi is available, I have no access to the internet even though my phone says i have a data connection.

Do you have data off?

Is there a data block on your account?

Are you using a Koodo phone? What phone are you using?

Data is connected. Just spoke to a tech rep who told me what steps to take to make sure data is connected to Koodo 3g as opposed to telus. I've since checked and everything seems to be in place. So far so good. Thanks for your response Dennis.

At the time I was using a cheap smartphone that I purchased at Staples (made by 'Ontop'). Yeah, I'd never heard of them either. With their phone I had to physically turn off the wifi and switch to 4g in order to access data. I now have a Samsung that does it automatically. Pays to get quality products.

I have an LG3 phone. It has worked fine until I changed plans and added data.  I still cannot access data unless it is through wifi.  I tried turning wifi off and trying the data but no luck.  I went to setting-more-mobile networks-access point names - filled in data as I found in another question.  Hopefully it isn't different for different phones.  Can you help me?

When I go to add ons the only one listed is 911. It's there anywhere else to check for data block?

If you can't see if you have a data block or not, you can call Koodo *611, option 6 for tech support.
Ask them if there is a data block on your account.
