Have a data CAP lets say I have a 1 GB data plan and if I use all of the data I should be CAPED @ 1 gb so should only be able to use the wifi or there should be a small add on for the month.

I like the idea of being completely stopped after you have used your monthly allowance, currently they already offer the pay per use once you exceed which is fairly reasonable depending on the plan you have of course, but $5 for 500 mb is a great deal for people that exceed their limits.

There is a gazillion apps you can download that will let you set your own limit and cut data use off once you reached it.

It would be more accurate if Koodo offered this. My sister's on Virgin prepaid and when she hits her 150 MB limit, data cuts off.

That's because there is no PPU data on prepaid... Prepaid is COMPLETELY different. In that case, same applies for Koodo prepaid lol. 1-1 ;)

There is one worrying thing if the DATA is cutted off when reaching the cap; In situation of emergency where no wifi how can we get the information we need??....So cutting off the Data when reaching a limit is not that Good ! Better to take one of those DATA manager application and let us being responsible !

LOL! The first nations still hunt with a bow and arrow here, they can hunt any time and place they like but not with guns... oh wait... now we're going thoroughly off topic :D

Sleds???? You are not one of those "oversees people" (I used another word before which applied to myself, but realized it might offend some, if so, I apologize - I changed it to a possibly less offending word which also applies to myself) who think we all live in igloos too? :D IF we had sleds, we could use 'm probably 2 weeks per year :D Ok ok I'll stop now :D

Hey Aman, while your idea is a nice one, we prefer if our customers had the option to decide for themselves if they want to turn the data off :).

The choice to cut it off would great for kids, also include a billable minute cap as well. Families would have no effect as you could still have your child call phones within the family plan or 911

Koodo doesn't want to force the cap. They want their customers to make that decision. That's the freedom of Koodo :D.
