When i check data usage on phone shows me approx what i have used. Then i get text from koodo saying ive reached half way to my limit. The 2 arent even close, so when i go on line and check my usage, its not even close to the half way. How is this warning generated? Please koodo can you correct your system.

What does it show when you log-in into self-serve? Usually those alert system are real time so it's hard to believe there's been an error somewhere. The data counter on your phone is not something to be trusted. It just indicates +/- where you're with your data usage. You need to truste what you see on Koodo's site!

What it says on the phone is closer to what shows on the break down of the usage

Are you a new customer? If so, you may have prorated data for the partial billing cycle.

Hey Greg! I would trust what you see in your self-serve account. Did you maybe just start a new billing cycle? If yes, then you probably used 50% of your data in your old cycle and were send the text message, but when you went to check in your self-serve your new cycle started so the data calculations restarted. Let us know if that's the case! :)
