You can always try. The worst they will say is no. But I would think if it's Ur first time that they will help you out as a courtesy.

Just to let you know that it's impossible for data to turn it's self on nomatter what so if thry don't wave the fee know that they were right in denying it and if thry do then you got lucky.

@ Saki back in February a one time credit has already been provided for data. At this point what I would suggest is to sign up for one of our shock-free-data plans. It comes with notification and blocks re your data use so you wont be surprised.

Also if Ur playing games and don't want data to be turned on, put airplane mode on before the game and you won't accidentally turn the data on again
