so i'm looking at these tab plus plans that are being offered to me - i wanted the $75 one but when i look it's 2GB of data - but when i was looking at plans only it was 3GB of data! i'd love to get this plan but it seems like somethings going on... likewise the $65 data plan only comes with 750mb of data (on the plan only side its 2gb) and the $90 plan on this page comes with 4 gb (on the other site it has 5GB)

Hi Liz,

Tab Plus plans are a complete robbery, especially with the current tab system. Avoid them unless you absolutely need to put another 140$ towards a tab. The plans are at least 20$ more than their their "regular" plans. If you want to get an iPhone, even though the website indicates them with a tab plus only, you can still get the regular tab with a max of 360$ towards the tab.

I see what they've done -- I get it - you can't *CHOOSE* a "Tab" only plan for the iphone 6! You can only choose the "Tab plus" - meaning -- less data & more moolah for them. POOOP>

Sorry Liz, might of mis-explained myself. You can choose to put any amount from 100 to 500$ on a tab. From 100-360$ you can select from ANY plan. From 360$ to 500$ you must select a tab plus plan

Nope - if you go online and choose an iphone 6 you *can't* choose a "tab" plan, only a "Sim card only" or "tab plus" !

ooops nevermind i guess that's their "tab" charge -- so if we work that out in % overall for say an interest charge...

if they are charging $5 per 250mb of data then they are charging an extra $20 per tab 'contract'.

For the amount they are financing ($500 or so)... they are charging out at - what - 50% apr for the year or so!??!

This of the tab as an interest free loan that you have 24 months to pay back. Koodo will take the amount put towards the tab (say 360$ for example) and divide that by 24. The total is 15$. That's the tab fee that they will add to your bill for the 24 months or, until you pay off your tab.

Say you put 500$ towards the tab, divide it by 24, round it off and the tab fee will come to 21$ for 24 months.
