My child managed to turn the wifi off, and managed to rack up $46 in data charges in about 30 minutes. He ignored the texts sent by Koodo warning about usage (bc he's 7 and doesn't read the messages) Any way of getting out of paying the extra charge?
Hello, if the messages were ignored even by a 7 year old chances are they won't be able to reimburse you. Best bet is to watch more carefully when someone is using the phone( not being rude at all). You can always try by messaging Koodo on Facebook but chances are they won't be able to help much.
Something isnt right here...Koodo sends warning messages saying your data is X% used. Then they cut off your data. If your kid doesn't know how to read then i assume he wouldnt have been able to type "Y" to unlock the data and keep using it so you shouldnt jave any extra charges. This is assuming you are on a shock free plan.
