bought new phone at koodo and clerk activated and turned off mobile data but was then charged for data usuage at that time. mobile data still tuned off. how can this be

It could be a glitch, how much you were charged? normally you can call Koodo to credit you back or send a message on Facebook to do it for you.

There is a period between when the phone is set up, and data turned off when the phone can access the data network. Some phones also allow leakage of data even though data is turned off, so if the issue continues, one option is to get a data block add on to prevent your phone accessing data.

The period between set up and. Data turned off was seconds by Koodo.ive been long time customer but not happy with this charge especially with koodo clerk setting up.
