Data usage for a monthly plan user

Hi.
I have been using the cheapest plan ($28) with my iphone 4 since 2013 without any data included. I'm using my phone mostly in wifi so I don't really need to change my plan.
As I know, data booster cannot be added to a monthly plan user.
Then, is there anything else that I can do for my temporary data usage?
I just need some data when I'm not in wifi-zone while traveling in another province for a few weeks.

Hi Sean,

Without changing your plan, there is not much you can do on your main account, as there are no data boosters unless you want to change plans to something with data.

Ok, thanks.
Is that because my current plan doesn't actually allow me to use any data outside wifi?
And $30/month plan is the cheapest right now that I can choose, if want to add data boosters?

You just need to pay "Pay -per -use rate".
Check your data overage rate through self serve. If you don't see it, call customer service  and ask them your rate.(They don't charge you for asking question)
Add: and if you have a data block add-on, you can remove it through self serve.
