Koodo can't help how fast your using your data, if your using it that quickly then chances are you need a plan with a larger amount of data. Videos depending on quality can easily take large amounts of data so if you watch videos that can easily use it up very quickly.

Not my question, I get a text that I'm over my data so I stop using it of course, then 20 minutes later I get a text that I'm at 90%. If I had received that notification first it would make more sense, why tell me I'm over first then tell me I'm at 90% later?

Because texts are a 'store and forward' technology, it is possible that they end up being received out of order.

It's not much consolation but it should be very rare for it to happen like that. Do you have your phone or plan set up to cut off data at your limit? Then at least you won't get hit with overages without permitting it.

Why do I receive only data alerts only when I'm past 50$ overcharge? it's supposed to send you warning when you're past 10$  and 25$? Why does it wait until 50$????

Stop by self serve, where you can adjust your notifications. Or switch to a shock-free data plan, which will stop your consumption at 100%.
