Data Add-on/Top up ended?

I bought the 1GB data top up on Jan 8, 2018 for my daughter's phone. My daughter just texted me saying Koodo msg her that she only have 50MB left, out of the 100 MB that comes with her plan. I checked and found out the top up ended on Feb 1, 2018. Is there something wrong with Koodo? I also checked the add-ons and there is NO data add-on available - not even the 500MB top up. Any idea?

The tops ups are only good for the billing cycle. One you go into a new billing cycle, you lose the top up.

are you sure? I had the 500MB add-on for my daughter's phone for like 6 months. Also, there is no data add-ons available, this is strange....

You may get prompted every now in again for a data add-on which are special promos.
When you use all of your data in a month though you get a message for a data top up which only last the billing cycle.

Top ups on prepaid plans extend beyond the 30 day billing period. Maybe that is what you used in the past?

It might hab been different type of top up but generally yes it's only for the month once you've been asked if you'd like to add it.

Sometime Koodo send text messages telling you that you can add an "add-on" for the rest of your time being with Koodo. OR when you reach the limit, they send you a message telling you that you can indeed "top up"
