Hi Sebastien,

I strongly recommend you ask questions like that in the XDA forums - there are far more MOD experts there than here in the Koodo forums :)

Make sure you use dark side wipe scripts before you flash the new rom. The t989 can be finicky

Just go back into recovery and try re-flashing. The Gapps is correct so that's not the issue. The 10.2 are nightly releases, not stable ones, so there are bound to be bugs. 10.1.2 is the last stable release (which requires different Gapps if you decide to use it). Make sure you are using TWRP to flash ROM's also. I've flashed a few ROMs with TWRP on my S2x without issue (but I only flash stable releases, I'm running AOKP currently).

You could see here: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?devi...
Anything beyond the 2013-07-11 10.1.2 is either a release candidate or nightly.

I know there have been some issues with others using CWM on the T989 and TWRP is recommended. I have not personally tried CWM so I can't directly comment on its effectiveness, all I can tell you is that I've been using TWRP with great success. But again, this bootloop could be a bug in the nightly release you are using, not necessarily with CWM. Also make sure you are doing complete wipes before installing any new ROM. So you can either try to re-flash 10.2 using CWM, or try flashing an earlier stable version of CM (like 10.1.2 2013-07-11) using CWM, or try TWRP and flash the 10.2 nightly.

If you want to try TWRP, there are various ways to flash TWRP. Given you can't get by the boot screen, you either need to go back into recovery, wipe the 10.2 CM and restore your last working OS (I assume you backed up your system before installing CM) and then install TWRP using Goomanager from the Google Play store, or you could avoid all that and just use Odin to flash the TAR file. Then use TWRP to wipe and re-install 10.2.

Here is the TWRP page with links to all the install files: http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/101

Sorry to read you're having problems.
However, you'd be better off checking their forums & not here as it voids your warranty (unless you're able to flash back to stock) ... so Koodo won't assist you with that kind of problem, unfortunately & the % of Koodo customers that ROOT is far lower than than those that frequent the CM Mod forums.

I had many issues with the current CWM and instead had to downgrade (wouldn't wipe completely, backup issues). Nothing ever worked right without the Darkside Cache wipe and Darkside wipe done first.

Check out xda (as John mentioned) for more information about using the Darkside scripts.

The key is to install a working custom recovery either CWM (ClockworkMod Recovery) or TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project). Perform a NAND backup and then run the Darkside SuperWipe script and finally load a custom ROM, preferably a stable version, if you want to use the ROM for everyday use.

[DO NOT use with TWRP] Using the Darkside SuperWipe script will thoroughly 'clean' your device prior to installing a custom ROM where no amount of factory resetting or manually wiping will. The SuperWipe method erases residual data stored in the /system, /data, /cache partitions that reside on the EXT4 file system.

At the moment, there are no stable releases for version 10.2. Here is a list of stable versions, below.

Release Candidate or RC versions are essentially a nightly that the dev team feels that no further improvements are needed and could become a final and completed product. That's not to say they are free from bugs. However, if an RC is released with no problems, it becomes a final and stable release. Again, if you intend to use a custom ROM for daily use, a stable release is recommended.

If you run into issues, you can get stock firmware from SamMobile, you'll need to register first, registration is free. Simply look up the firmware for the T-989D and download either ICS 4.0.4 or JB 4.1.2. and flash using Odin.
