I would recommend getting a new SIM card because it's just easier to deal with. Cutting SIMs is a little risky.

If you're worried about your contacts, search the app store for something that will facilitate a contacts transfer between phones - more than likely will use Bluetooth.

Koodo will not cut your sim for you. They also will not guarantee service if you cut down the sim and it doesn't work. It's a hacked solution and if it's done wrong it won't work.

Well if your cutting your sim with a knife or siccors I would not recommend that. If your willin to visit a kiosk then you might as well just buy the proper size seeing as its very inexpensive. Personally I had an original size sim but switching to the 4s I had to cut mine, but I specifically have a sim cutter. Only benefit of cutting the sim is you have the original piece of the original size to switch back to a regular phone, but with black berries i find you can still use the nano/micro sim if you slide it into the correct position behind the battery.

If your cutting from a regular SIM to a Micro SIM it's fairly easy (since you don't need to cut into the contacts on the card) and you can get templates office net to do it. Cutting down to a Nano SIM is difficult and not recommended at all. really though it's best to just go buy one because I have heard that ppl have cut theirs and left a sharp edge and the SIM got caught in the SIM Tray and damaged the SIM Tray leaving the phone unusable.

For 10$, I think it's not worth it...
