Hi there... You can definitely change and keep your same number... So if your phone is unlocked, all you have to do is approach a Koodo shop, let them know you have a number with bell you want to keep with Koodo and they will do the rest, if you are eligible based on a credit check that will be done, an account will be opened and you will be good to enjoy the services...

When at Koodo shop, have handy your bell account number since you will need it to transfer your number!!!

Welcome and enjoy!!!

Just swtich to Koodo.  You dont need to pay off yoru contract ahead of time.  By switching over, Koodo will cancel the contract and Bell will bill you out in their final invoice.

It's the same process to switch to Koodo as it is to switch to Bell

Hi Connor, if your phone is locked, we can even unlock it for you free of charge in a Koodo store :) Welcome to koodo!

Bell and Telus (Koodo) use the exact same network. They even share towers so you might already be on Telus network (esp if out west, AB or BC)

Just make sure phone is unlocked and check the APN settings

I wouldn't. We have a brand new Bell Cell tower nearby. I have Bell and partner has Koodo.  Often her calls get dropped, or worst, no reception. And not just in this location either. We are switching her to Bell next month.  I was a big Koodo fan until this happened. You get what you pay for.  Explanation for this was, cell service priority goes by ownership. Whomever owns the tower is king. So Bell in this instance, followed by Telus, then Virgin mobile then Koodo, like a totem pole.

Bell sucks. unbelievably lengthy bills, several additional minor charges such as digital service charge when it's the only service they offer and there customer service is the worst. You spend hours on the phone and they always get it wrong. I would climb a pole to make a phone call like they did on Green Acres before I would ever do business with Bell.

I would suggest complaining to Bell about your bad experience so they can tell the appropriate people and maybe fix things for future customers.

You would also spend hours on the phone if you tried to call Koodo.  Luckily there is Self Serve and the Community to assist when required
