Credit card payments for account manager

Hi Everyone,

I have a joint account with my girlfriend under my name and she would like to be able to pay her portion of the bill with her credit card. Under the payment section it says if the credit card billing address is different than the account address then the payment may not be processed right away. Will this be an issue if she attempts to pay with her credit card? By the way she is listed as an account manager.

Not in my opinion. I have occasionally paid someone's bill with my credit card and it goes through no problem.

When you want to pay by CC the Koodo system requires the information on the CC to match with the information on the Koodo system, otherwise the payment will be declined.

There is a way to register international Credit Cards on the system by sending a special form so the system recognizes them for the payments, you may call Customer Service and inquiry if using the same form they will be able to register the CC you are talking about, give it a try to see what the answer is, I do not see anything wrong here and you guys want to keep your account up to date...

If it is not possible, then she will be able to make a payment online with her bank, or pay at the bank with the bill, or send the money via western union...

That is what you may be told Camilo. Payment will NOT decline though, even if the address on the card or the name is different than on the koodo account. As I said I have done it multiple times. @ Dan W, you have nothing to lose, go ahead and give it a try.

RudyW, good to know that your payments go through, if ever they are declined by the system, you know the reason why now...

Nope. I wouldn't. :-) Systems don't act like humans. Systems have a binary approach to everything. Either everyone can process payments with someone's card or no one. Systems are not selective. I didn't just get lucky. :-)

Hi Rudy, it can happens though and we have customers calling because their payment was declined. It's often because of mismatch between the info on their credit card and our files. Although it can work sometimes and it doesn't hurt to try, it's a fact that the payment can be declined precisely because of this reason. Thank you.
