Credit card not being accepted so I can't order my new phone even though it's free :(

Hey, I have been trying to upgrade my phone to the new one that is on a promo until 02/28/18 but because I had forgotten to change the address on my card when I moved, it wouldn't accept.

So I called Capital One and got it changed to the correct address. I thought that this would be instant but the Koodo website is still not accepting my credit card. It is active with credit on it. Really want the new phone and am getting so frustrated with this!

Credit card address and Koodo account address have to be the same. If you just changed your address with the bank it might take some time. I have no idea how long. If the site still wont accept it I think your only other option is to call Koodo.

Did Capital One said that  address change reflect immediately?
Even they said they do, but it could take a few days(or more) for Koodo to update your credit card info to update.

BTW, there is no free phone.  You could get a phone with $0 down/upfront, but you still need to pay for your phone by monthly on Tab.

Yeah but there is no immediate charge. I am aware of the tab.

Past due of 21$ :( I got screwed at work for my paycheck and couldn't pay the whole thing. Sad I'll miss out on the deal.

It's 100$ off the phone, 50$ off the first bill and the Tab M at like 360

I would call them Sean. Tell them your situation and they might be able to help you out.

Yeah I will totally do that tomorrow, it's really nice to see an existing customer promo. They are few and far between and I could really use the upgrade. Ever since I got my replacement phone it's been slow. The Essential phone looks great.
