I am with Bell right now and am wanting to switch to Koodo. How do I find out if there is coverage where I live? I also what to know the quality of coverage.

You should end up using the same nwtwork therefore have the same quality of ckverage as you received from Bell.

Bell/Virgin and Telus /Koodo have the same coverage. They have agreement with each other to share towers  and some frequencies. You should be fine after switching. As a precaution you can always use prepaid for  a testing purpose and than decide after that.

Rather than spending money on prepaid, if OP has the intent to switch to Koodo, they can activate a new number with Koodo, then port their Bell number over a few days later via self-serve once they are content with the network reception on Koodo. The Koodo phone can be returned within 14 days of activation as long as the customer did not exceed the 30 minutes talk, 50 SMS or 50 MB data, which should suffice to "test the waters".

Porting the Bell number into Koodo through self-serve can be done at no extra charge.
