Hello,

I placed order # HFO19339428 shortly after noon (Pacific) on March 6th and have not heard anything beyond the initial order confirmation.  Could someone please check the status for me? I know the fulfillment folks must be swamped, but I just want to know if there are any issues?

Out of curiosity, what part of the country are you in (and what did you order)?  March 6 was Tuesday.  I (in Halifax) ordered an iPhone 7 upgrade on Thursday, and got the shipping notice (with tracking#) 3 hours after I placed the order.  I can't tell where it is coming from since they haven't yet turned it over to Canada Post, apparently.

I'm somewhat skeptical that one distribution location would have a 3-day backlog in pick-and-pack or whatever while another has no delays.  I suspect they have out-of-stock issues with some items.

I'm in a suburb or Vancouver BC, and I ordered a SIM card (I'm migrating from Public Mobile to Koodo to take advantage of the migration promo plan we were offered).

@NorthernRaven Yeah I saw that too.  I can see how people might jump to that conclusion.  There are a lot of jaded PM customers due to some recent moves the company made, which probably helps push people toward the "conspiracy" end of the suspicion spectrum.  Me, I tend to believe it's just a logistical backlog.  No way to know for sure, though!  :)

I finally got an email from the Koodo Web store this morning... But.. oddly, it's addressed to someone else (starts with Hi Jazmin--my name is not Jazmin) and has a different order number in the subject that is not my order. I'm a bit concerned!!!

Could someone please re-check my order? Thank you!

Normally it would be pretty hard for computers to mess up like this, since there wouldn't be a natural way to associate info from one order to your email address from another (unless customer service was working on Jazmin's and somehow input your email into the file).  But you said you were converting from Public Mobile, so perhaps there was a screwup when they (human or computer) connected things between PM and Koodo databases?

On a side note what is up with the webstore hours of operation...4 days a week/6hr shifts??? where can I apply lol

@kelsey could you please check again?  After the "weird" email i got yesterday with a different order number and address to someone else, I got an email about my order and correctly addressed.  It asked me to go to a Koodo retail location with 2 pieces of photo ID.  I did that about 2.75 hours ago.  The guy at the kiosk verified my ID, called in, and the person he spoke to said it was cleared up and I would get my shipping notice in about 10 mins.  I have yet to hear anything further.  Could you please check my order number again?  It's HFO19339428.  Let me know if you need the "tentative account number" that was included in the email.

Thank you Kelsey.  Still anxiously awaiting my shipment notification.  I know that the migration offer from PM is set to expire on the 15th.  Presumably, since I started this process on the 6th, I should still get the 6GB plan for $40 and the $100 bill credit honoured?  Also, I used a $100 online referral link from my uncle.  It was valid back then--I sure hope it will still be honoured at the $100 level.

@Mats that makes zero sense.  They started the $100 promo on the 6th and ended it on the 9th.  The vast majority of people that ordered their SIM cards on the 6th likely did not receive it in time to activate, through no fault of their own.  I'm still waiting for my SIM to ship let alone activate.  I did do step 1 where I started the referral process right away on the 6th just before ordering, which should lock it in at the $100 level provided I complete the activation online within the 30 days.  Is that not a reasonable expectation?

I hope you get it and think you should. There have been posts saying the opposite of what Ranjan said but he for sure would know.
