Hey there! There could be a number of reasons why we would contact a customer and when we do it's from that number.  Can you give us a bit more information as to what the reason of the call was for?

I just got a call from this number.  It listened to me for a few seconds before disconnecting.  WTF?  Don't call me and not say anything, wasting my minutes.  Is this a fucked up strategy to make more money from prepaid customers?  Is it some sort of surveillance to see whether the number is still active?  Why not just tell me that if so?

Ease off the kool-aid. Koodo isn't trying to scam 1 minute the odd time from you. Probably some screw up. Feel free to send a private message to Koodo's Facebook page or call 611 (your minutes will not get used) to see what you were contacted for.

How are you so sure?  It sounds like something they'd do, with their shady practices of trying to get me to switch to a contract repeatedly, which is obviously a bad idea for me but great for them to gouge me more.  In Russia, they have $7/month unlimited data plans for mobile phones.  The mobile companies here in Canada are extremely shady by comparison, gouging at ridiculous rates.  Canadians just have their heads in the sand when it comes to international systems.

Why wouldn't they just tell me they screwed up instead of hanging up?  Also, why would I go to Facebook when they have their own website right here?

And no, I like Kool-aid.  :P
