Concern regarding Seasonal Plan

I have a seasonal hold since October 2014 for 6 months as I was planning to return in April 2015 to Canada. At that time, I was assured by the representative that if I needed to continue the seasonal hold, all i had to do was call in before the expiry and it would be further extended.
However, since my return now is delayed and I want to continue with the seasonal hold, I called to request that the hold be continued for another 6 months, I was told by another rep that this is only allowed once!
How is this possible and what service is this..when your website also states the following:

"can you apply the seasonal plan more than one time in a 12 month peroid

PRODUCTS: Plans & Add-ons

Yes, but once your plan is reactivated it needs to be active for one month before you can switch back to the seasonal hold. (2014-10-09)"

http://community.koodomobile.com/kood... Seems like 12 months does work, so you'd have to pay for one month in full and then apply the seasonal hold afterwards. But zeba, is seasonal hold worth it to save your phone #? If so, by all means go for it but a 12 month seasonal hold is somewhat pricy.
