How come I am charged for over using data in just two days of billing cycle?

How come I am charged for over using data in just two days of billing cycle? This never happened to me before. I have 1G of data on my plan and been on wifi for most of the time. This is ridiculous! There's also no customer service to talk to. Koodo is a big fail. I am switching carrier.

What does the data usage app say on your phone? Does it confirm that your usage says on your self serve?

Why can't you call Koodo?

If your phone legitimately used the data unknowingly to you then you should be mad at your phone manufacturer and not at the service provider. Let us know what you find out

Hey Janice,

Here are the steps if you want to verify your usage on Self-Serve:

-       Access the main page of your Self-Serve account

-       Click on the "Account Details" tab

-       And then click on "Usage"

From there, you will be able to have a closer look into your usage (current cycle, previous cycle or 2 month ago).

Depending on your phone model, you should be able to verify your usage (per application) on the settings of your phone. If you need more assistance, please give us more info about your phone.
