Community Account Update

I had an older Koodo Community account. Logged in to it last night. Cancelled it. Now, I want to change the email to THIS account, to my old email address. Should be that simple, right? No. When I go to change the email on this account, it say that the email is already in use. Something like that. Well, I just deleted the old account last night that used that email. So, it's no longer in use. Having said that, how can I get this issue fixed? Thanks.
