Clicking "change my plan" results in an immediate error message

Trying to upgrade a very old $30 plan to the new promotional $40 plan with 1GB of data. But the moment I click on "Change my Plan", I get the error message "An error has occurred. Please refresh the page or try again later." I've been getting the error for 24 hours now, on my cell phone, desktop, in Chrome and IE.

I expect you are moving from the old Tab system where Koodo paid down your Tab to the new, where your Tab payment is separated. If so, this can't be done online, you'll need to call in.
