Do you mean yo called and it went to voice-mail or you called and ended the call before it connected? Are you prepaid o postpaid?

No, I just tried to call a person but cancelled it after 3 ring (just wanted to give him a miss call). It is postpaid plan. I checked my bill and found this miss call was counted under my airtime minutes, I thought giving a miss call to another phone is completely free. ??

My understanding is postpaid is not supposed to do that. You said it charge for all missed calls, how many were there in total? It happened each time there was a missed call you made?

I tried 5 miss call and I was charged for all 5. Do you think i should call Koodo and ask for them about it? it is not fair at all.

Billing disputes can only be resolved by calling 611. I don't believe emails to customer support can do it. Unless someone here says that it is normal, and I've never been charged for missed calls with postpaid, so I doubt it, you would have to call In to dispute it.

Unless you get to the voice-mail my understanding is that it won't count as a minute. Dis you get charged for those minutes or they only appear on your airtime usage? Have you checked if it actually used a minute? Maybe it's there but there's no minute eaten by the call

No, I have been charged for all those missed calls which I made from my phone.
I think, will have to call Koodo billing about it.
It is really bad experience.

Hey Chirag! Just confirming once again, the system will not bill you until the call goes to voicemail or if the person picks up. Perhaps the voicemail picked up right when you hung up? Usually after 3 rings it goes to voicemail... my suggestion would be to let the phone ring twice to avoid the possibility of the voicemail picking up.  Hope this clarifies things!

Finally, I Phoned Koodo Billing, and the funny answer was .......In Canada, if you give miss call and disconnect your phone after 1 ring, it will be counting 1 min in your bill.

This is really bad policy of Telecommunication companies in this country.......Totally unacceptable !!

Chirag, can you show us a screenshot of your bill where these five charges appear? Do not include anything that identifies you personally.

Hey Chirag! Just to clarify the information, as it seems there was a misunderstanding with the representative with who you spoke, we do not charge our customers for missed calls. Can you please send us an email http://koo.do/11eMLdy (Make sure to use the Social Media category) and we will get back to you. Rest assured that if there is a billing issue, we will fix it!
