Charges are too high for me

I can get the same service I'm getting from Koodo from Wind Mobile for $39.95 a month ... I am going to switch ... give me my payout amount for t.he phone. I never leave the Toronto area much ... so coverage is not an issue. $75 a month is too much to pay for the amount of use I have. I am not going to reduce my voice, text or data. Wind actually has more data.

You are free to go. :-) When you sign up to Wind Koodo will send you your last bill. Simple as that. Wind is cheaper indeed. Like many things you get what you pay for. The CRTC just released a report though and incredibly Wind had highest percentage of complaints against them. I didn't think anyone can do worse than Rogers. Wind apparently can. All the best.

It's sad to hear you'll be leaving Koodo but that's your choice. Once you're with WIND, you'll understand why the service is so cheap. You get what you pay for.

Anyways, you're saying/asking/demanding "give me my payout amount for t.he phone". If you've accumilated a positive tab, you will lose that once you cancel your account. This is not something that is paid out to you if/when you decide to leave Koodo.

Maybe Wind will suit his needs.

Regarding the "payout amount", I think that he's referring to how much he still owes Koodo for his tab, rather than a positive tab amount.

Best of luck. Just a word of caution. Wind does have some amazing rates, but just be diligent when traveling as they have very high roaming charges.

I would suggest you read wind mobile terms of service carefully. I read them and it's amazing what they can get away with... (quick example: wind reserves the right to disconnect a call if it is longer than 2 hours even if you weren't don't talking. This isn't a quote from it however gives the general idea of what you're getting with wind among other details they don't tell you when you sign up.
