Yesterday I was getting help from customer service to reset my phone through NO fault of my own,(I lost phone service) then I get charged 5.00 for not immediately resetting my data button. I will NOT be paying that charge! It is absolutely ridiculous how much we have to pay for a smartphone in the first place.
After factory resetting an iOS device, mobile data is automatically re-enabled. If you were charged $5 for inadvertently using data, politely ask the rep to reverse the charge or credit your account. I can't make any guarantee they'll do it, though there have been similar situations where Koodo has shown some leniency.
