Changing plan after a phone change

I upgraded to a new phone yesterday and the representative said he had to change my plan due to the new phone, but that I would be able to change the plan once more during this billing cycle. I tried this morning to change my plan and your system is telling me I can't. Please advise.

You're only able to change it yourself once per billing cycle

Call in and explain your situation to the rep and they'll likely waive the fee to change it again.
