I recently had to get a repair done on my LG G4 and i was loaned a loaner phone from my local koodo store. The phone on my account still shows the loaner phone and not my LG G4 as the rep forgot to change when he returned my repaired G4. There doesnt seem to be a way for me to update this in my account and i really dont want to pay $10 for you to do it. When I g to change my phone i keep getting the message 'sim card already  use' please help.

If it was the same SIM card all along, don't sweat it. Koodo doesn't care about your handset, as long as it gets paid off if you have a tab. Your subscription is tied to the SIM card. You can change handsets as often as you change your socks as long as you use the same SIM, and nobody cares.

I take it your G4 is back in service and working? That's the main issue.

Send Koodo a copy of this link as a private message on their Facebook site and they will do whatever adjustment is required.

Thanks for the reply. i only wanted to look at unlocking my LG G4 phone on the koodo website but realised the loaner phone was still on my account. I am travelling to UK soon and need it unlocked. I can call in at a koodo store to o this I think.

You can do it by calling in as long as your account has been in good standing for 90 days. The independent unlockers don't care one way or another.

Going with a local SIM seems to be a popular way to proceed given the current state of Koodo's international roaming offerings.

Sometimes phone/device update takes time. Try it tomorrow  or next day, then it should be change back to your phone.

It won't hurt to reboot your phone to refresh your network connection and update your link.
