Changing SIM card on Prepaid Account

I have been using Koodo Prepaid for a couple of years with a Blackberry (Micro-SIM). I recently bought an unlocked iPhone 5S and a new Koodo Prepaid Nano-SIM.

I inserted the Nano-SIM into the iPhone, then logged into Self Serve and was able to change the SIM card using the "Change SIM Card" page. My iPhone now has service, while my Blackberry does not. All good!

My question is: can I leave the old SIM in my blackberry and switch back and forth between the old and new SIMs on Self Serve?

When I try changing the SIM on the "Change SIM Card" page back to the old SIM number, I get the error "SIM card number is invalid or already in use."

As long as it is for the same line, you should be able to still transfer back to the other sim (within 90 days I think... may be shorter but I cant 100% remember anymore)

Unless something has changed recently that I'm not aware of, the 90 days trick is unfortunately not possible on prepaid SIMs. You will always have to buy a new SIM card and take advantage of the $20 credit.

An alternative solution is to use a SIM adapter, just be careful not to damage the tray or pins on your phones. I wrecked an old Lumia doing that.

Thanks guys, looks like it may not be possible with Prepaid SIMs as Jonathan said.

Oh well, time to sell my Blackberry I guess!
